Chapter 33- 36

In chapter thirty-three, Minho tells Thomas the basics of running in a maze which is leaving yourself some clues to help you find your way back. While running with Minho, Thomas notices a label that says ‘World In Catastrophe: Killzone Experiment Department.’  Once Thomas returned from running in the maze he went straight to the map room to record what the maze looked like in his section. After that Thomas was about to rest but then the girl’s voice in his head said that she ‘triggered the Ending.’
The next day Thomas woke up to find everyone in panic. When he looks to see what the problem was, he saw that the sky, the sun, and clouds had all disappeared. Where the sky was supposed to be was gray, nothing but a grey ceiling. No matter the situation Minho still expects the runners to continue their jobs and go to the maze. Minho also made Thomas think deeper than just that the sun had disappeared, without the sun the plants can’t grow, and without the plants the animals will have nothing to eat. This also reminded Thomas what Teresa said the night before about starting the ending. When Thomas and Minho entered they spotted a Griever rolling away and Thomas decided to see where the Griever was going to go. The griever leads them to the Cliff where they witnessed the griever roll of the cliff and disappear.
In Chapter thirty-five, the griever did seemed somewhat suspicious. So they experimented with the Cliff to see if there is a trick to it. To find the trick they threw rocks and pebbles down the cliff and they found a small area which seemed like the rocks were disappearing instead of falling down which happened to the rocks that were thrown around that area. Thomas and Minho found this interesting and wanted to tell everyone but they still had to follow protocol and continue their run and returned to Glade where they recorded what their section of the maze looked like. Thomas explained to Newt and Alby about that disappearing area and decided to call it The Griever Hole. Unfortunately Newt and Alby were frustrated with something else; the box didn’t show up and give them their supplies like it did for the past two years.  Chuck interrupted their conversation to tell them that the girl has woken up.  As soon as Chucky has told them that Thomas had a telepathic message from the girl, Teresa, she said that everything that she wants to tell him is fading away but she sent her last memorable clue which was that ‘The Maze is a code.’
Thomas ran to the deadheads because he didn’t want to see Teresa. As he sat against a tree trunk and was about to sleep but he heard the girls voice but this time it wasn’t in his head she was standing right beside him. They talked about what they remembered or at least remember remembering. Thomas also asked Teresa how she talked to him in his head but she just said that she just knows she can do it but doesn’t know how. Teresa also said that the only thing she remembers is that WICKED is Good. Alby and Newt finds them together and Alby started to freak out on Teresa, asking her things like what did she do? and if she remembers anything>. Newt explained to Thomas that the gates that protected them from Grievers at night didn’t close tonight
In chapter 33 when Thomas said ‘World In Catastrophe: Killzone Experiment Department’ I obviously noticed that it would be an acronym for WICKED which would also be on the back of the beetle blade. It also irritated me because it’s easy to connect yet Thomas didn’t make that connection. In the same chapter where Teresa said that she triggered the Ending which made me think that it was a continuation from the beginning when she first arrived from the box and said that everything was going to change. I could relate to and everyone else, in chapter thirty-six where Teresa said that she just knows she can do it but doesn’t know how. It’s just like riding a bike even if you haven’t forgotten you wouldn’t really think about riding your bike you just ride it.
